Can you believe it?  We are starting our 6th year selling wines in
our wine tasting complex that overlooks the Allegheny mountains
and Wolf Gap, a geographical feature in that mountain chain.
With this in mind, we created a video with some highlights of our
vineyard and winery.  After giving it a few seconds to "load",
enjoy our video of  events at Wolf Gap Vineyard:

IT'S HISTORY:  Now, over six years after we began operations by
planting our vines and making a few barrels of wine from grapes
we purchased elsewhere in "the valley", we have realigned our
wine tasting selection --after finishing off some of our older
vintages and bringing on other, younger wines.

You probably remember when we blended the Reserve
Chambourcin and Reserve Cab Franc from 2006 to create the
now-famous  Mariage, a delicious dark red, Bordeaux-style
blend.  Well, it's back with our 2009 vintage after aging over
three years.  Wolf Gap Willie says it is as good or better than
the 2006 Mariage, which won a silver medal.

AND WE STILL HAVE SOME OTHER GREAT REDS:

Prominent in the early vintages is the richly smooth 2007
Cabernet Franc, an exciting, bold red wine with exotic fruit
flavors that make you think you are tasting a great Malbec.
This bold red has opened up to reveal its delightfully fruity
nose and smooth palate followed by a classic peppery finish,
ready to be combined with a rare T-bone.  (Steak not
included.)
This is another silver medal winner. Check it out.
We still have 50 cases of this favorite.

And don't wait until these fine reds are history:

2007 Cabernet Franc RESERVE
2008 Chamerlot
2009 Chambourcin

Our white wine list includes our ever-popular 2011
Viognier-Traminette blend that is made exclusively here at
Wolf Gap.   Also, you may remember when we released our
2009 Chardonnay Estate Reserve.  This pristine nectar was
produced from the second harvest of these young Wolf Gap
vines.   You'll not be surprised to hear that once again we
have sold out of this memorable Chardonnay, made with just a
hint of oak and a smooth buttery taste that enhances the
delicious fruit of the grape.  The good news is that our 2011
Chardonnay has been released and is ready to PARTY.

For those of you who favor sweeter wines, we have a
semi-DRY sparkling rose and a semi-sweet blueberry wine to
satisfy your craving.  Also, this Spring (2013)  we will release
a NEWLY vinted semi-dry Chambourcin with just a hint of
sweetness to complement that fruity-smoky flavor.  Talk
about a great wine.  We will also be releasing a semi-sweet
Traminette in the Spring.

On your next visit to Wolf Gap Vineyard, we look forward to
showcasing our newest fine wines, all grown and produced in
the Shenandoah Valley.  We also give tours of the winery and
vineyard for those who would like to learn more about how
the grapes are grown and the wine is made.  Most of all, we
want to provide you with a wine tasting to acquaint you with
all eight of the different wines we produce here at Wolf Gap.
In the meantime, please call or email us and we will set up a
private cellar tasting and tour at a time convenient to you.
Our winery phone number is (540) 984-3306.  Wolf Gap
Willie's cell phone is (540) 325-3942.  Call and wake him up!
